Neighbourhood Watch
The Estate has an active Neighbourhood Watch Scheme with Street Coordinators throughout the estate.
If there is any activity in the estate that you are concerned about you can inform your nearest Street Coordinator, Street WhatsApp group or report directly to the Gardaí.
Neighbourhood
Watch is a crime prevention and community safety programme for urban
areas. It operates as a partnership between An Garda Síochána and the
public. It works on the basis that every member of a community can help
to improve the quality of life in the area by keeping a look out for
neighbours and reporting suspicious activities to the Gardaí.

The Estate has an active Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.

Gardai Text Alerts
The gardai also provide an alert service advising of suspicious or criminal activity in the area. The Broadford Residents association are signed up to this alert service and can share the alerts with community members via WhatsApp.

Crime Prevention Guides
An Garda Síochána publish a number of crime prevention guides which residents may find useful:
"Suspicious Caller ID" and "Know your Neighbour" cards are also available for residents if you contact broadfordresidents@gmail.

Don't forget to lock your vehicle and if you notice a neighbours vehicle unlocked please let them know.
