National Slow Down Day 2024
Today marks National Slow Down Day, a Garda initiative to help make sure those driving home this Christmas arrive safely.
Reduced Speed Limits in the Estate (50 kph - 30 kph)
You might have seen 30 kph signs in some areas of Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown since the council approved the new speed limits in November but Broadford is still waiting on the "Official Signs" to be erected.
As it happens this years National Slow Down Day coincides with Broadford Residents Association receiving "interim" signage, which you will see popping up around the estate in the coming days, reminding visitors and residents ...
30 Is Enough
Parking
Over the Christmas period many people will be returning to visit their families, friends and loved ones in the Estate. It would be greatly appreciated by all residents to give consideration to where visitors are parked and that they are not blocking neighbors drives.
